Her Side of the Wall

How Concrete Collective Was Born

Concrete Collective began during a chapter shaped by love, loyalty, confusion, and survival.
While supporting someone I loved behind the wall, I poured myself into his dreams and his world — often at the cost of losing my own.

In the middle of that relationship, I came up with the idea for Concrete Collective.
At first, I didn’t know what it would become. I just knew I wanted to help families who had loved ones incarcerated — even if I had no clear direction, no plan, and no space to breathe.

What I didn’t realize then was that this idea would later become part of my healing.

Leaving that relationship was one of the hardest choices I’ve ever made. But choosing myself created the space for Concrete Collective to finally take shape — with purpose, clarity, and meaning.

And if you're a creator, artist, designer, or a homegirl with a vision you've been too scared to start, pull up! Concrete Collective is always open to collab.
